The news of the day as seen from the perspective of a pensionable domestic moggy called Fluffy.

I'm pretty cool when it comes to other animals. I can handle them. Except one.

It's a monster. It actually lives in the cupboard by my litter tray, but usually it seems to be hibernating. However, about once a week, she takes it out and wakes it up. It's so dangerous, it has be chained to the wall when it's awake. It's shiny and blue and has a long grey trunk, like an elephant. And it makes a hideous, breathy roar.

Maybe it's some kind of exercise, but she moves it about and rubs its nose on the floor for about ten minutes, then puts in back in the cupboard when it falls asleep. I keep well out of the way!

He doesn't exercise it as much as she does. Maybe he's afraid of it, too.
